OK folks, so I've said it before and I'll say it again...What are you waiting for??? Arthritis is a condition of inflammation in the joint. The pain associated with it can be alleviated by many easy self care methods, i.e. Diet - cut out white foods. White potatoes, white bread, white sugar, white flour, etc. Exercise - move the joint every day, several times a day. The only way to keep our joints healthy, with flowing fluids is by warming them through movement. So do some form of gentle exercise daily. Tai Chi is a great exercise for the joints. Massage - get a massage where the therapist gently moves the head and neck around to explore your range of motion. It will help to decrease inflammation as well as increase relaxation to the joint and to the whole body. Making you feel better, and less focused on the pain. Self Massage - I recommend acupressure for arthritis. Stimulating your acupressure points will clear the inflammation from the joint, alleviate pain, and increase healing to the joint to eliminate the arthritic inflammation all together. I highly recommend Michael Gach's books on acupressure for self healing. So you no longer have to listen to me. Listen to the experts that are studying this stuff with real people. Treating them and testing them and analyzing the results. You do not have to suffer in pain anymore! Take care of yourself. Get a massage. Join my New Body Ease Class.
