A lifetime ago, ok, really about 20 years ago...but that's really like another life ago for me....I was working for a Retail Fundraising Company. I remember my boss saying to me how impressed she was that I was always so Positive. I had to think about that a little because I don't think I was "naturally" positive. I came from a divorced family, I had my struggles in school socially and with body image, and I don't think even then, I really was 100%, totally in Love with myself, ME - you know?
But ONE thing I did know....I had choice! I could CHOOSE to LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, OR....I could choose to see the WORST IN ALL THINGS!
WHAT DO YOU CHOOSE TODAY? WHAT IS ONE THING GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE TODAY THAT YOU REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, DON'T THINK WILL HAVE A POSITIVE OUTCOME?
Take a moment to think about that situation or relationship, or whatever it is. NOW BREATHE AS YOU THINK ABOUT IT. COME ON! TAKE A FEW SLOW DEEP BREATHES IN AND OUT! GOOD!
NOW ----- What outcome to the relationship or situation, or whatever it is - would BRING YOU THE MOST JOY? MAKE YOU LAUGH & SMILE & GIGGLE AND FEEL TINGLY INSIDE WITH GIDDINESS! GO ON! THINK ABOUT THAT OUTCOME! THINK ABOUT IT SOME MORE. LAUGH OUT LOUD!!!! BREATHE!!! REALLY BREATHE!! AND GET INTO THE TINGLY FEELING SOME MORE!
