Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese exercise using slow, relaxed movements for complete development of the self, i.e. Mind/Body/Spirit. The Mind develops its powers of concentration, will power, & visualization; the body finds an efficient exercise that increases blood flow & strengthens muscles, increases balance, and improves immune functioning; and the spirit discovers harmony through calm movements. Practitioners of Tai Chi learn to control the flow of Qi (chi), our essential vibrational life force, for better health and improved emotional balance. Each class will be a study of the 8 ways exercises, plus learning the 37 posture Yang Style Short Form developed by Master Cheng Man-ch’ing.
