All I can say is Yea! Check out the new look of my website. You have already been receiving the Blog posts from the website, now you can see the whole site. I will still be adding content and changing things around, but for the most part the work is ready and done. Have a great day and enjoy the site!
There was an exciting buzz moving through the Greenville Rancheria today. FREE Massages were being offered to employees, clients, and Indian Valley residents from 11 am - 4 pm. The conference room was transformed into a temporary massage room. Low lighting, calming music, and a massage table completed the ambiance. It was my pleasure to work on the participating employees and community members today. It is always exciting to work on people that have never received a massage before. Educating new clients that they are a participant in receiving the massage is always my most important message. It is their choice of how much pressure they would like to receive, they can speak up about what feels uncomfortable, but also just as important, what feels great. The more communication between myself and you, the client, the better I am able to fulfill your needs during the massage. When this happens there can be no wonder about the buzz of excitement moving through the halls today. When someone receives a good massage, they are eager to share the experience with someone else so they too can feel great!
Thank you Greenville Rancheria for allowing me to provide massage to some really great people today, and provide a service that I love to do! I hope for the people that I touched today, you will remember your massage experience and go forward in getting massage work when you need it, or make it a part of your health care routine. It really is not a luxury anymore. Massage is as important to good health as breathing, diet, exercise, lifestyle and rest. So why not get a massage and incorporate two components of good health in one treatment - breathing and rest. It is your choice! Look for more FREE massages this week at Evergreen Market, Friday October 26 from 3 pm - 6 pm, and at Lupine's Natural Foods, Saturday, October 27 from 1 pm - 4 pm. All participants receive information on the benefits of massage therapy published by the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), information about massage from Sacred Space Energetic Healing Arts (SSEHA), and a 30% off coupon for a massage from SSEHA! Come by and say Hi!, bring a friend and receive a FREE Massage! It is about time you became aware of how good a massage can help you feel! Thank you Cardio Gals for continuing to support Cardio Yoga! We had a great time getting heart healthy, strength healthy, flexibility healthy, core healthy today and body/mind healthy. See you Thursday for Circuit Training. Thank you Mountain Circle for Winter Fitness Club! A great way to stay in shape!

NMTAW gives the community the opportunity to see, hear and feel how Massage Therapy can benefit them. Feel free to stop by my office for a FREE Massage Demo during business hours between my regular sessions and classes, or at one of the above locations. It is your body you live in. You only have one. So why not take care of it the best way you can. Massage will do that for you. Come by and feel what you will get out of a massage. Today I taught my first Cardio Yoga class in a l o n g time. I really enjoy Cardio Yoga because it gets my heart rate pumping, sweat pouring down my face, and I feel alive! Anyone that knows me, knows I'm not a big Aerobics gal. I actually do not enjoy sweating or doing anything that requires a lot of effort, I'm into ease. I have to say though, I felt so exhilarated after class. My skin was glowing, my attitude was more positive, and I felt more open to expressing love. If these are the benefits of aerobic workouts, I'm all in!
Join me next Tuesday morning at 8:30 am at the Indian Valley Community Center for another Cardiac Yoga Attack. I incorporate yoga awareness and breath warm-ups, with 3 - 4 rounds of Cardio Yoga moves and will be adding on yoga strength and fitness moves that can be done with or without free weights. I finish in Savasana, Yoga rest, in order to bring the body back into balance after the work out. It is also a good time to take in any visualizations of goals you want to achieve in your life. This is a "go at your own pace" class. Do what you can, increase your blood volume and strength of your heart muscle working at your own fitness level. The class is sponsored by Mountain Circle and is part of their new Winter Fitness Club. The Club meets twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursday at 8:30 am. Thursdays will be a Circuit Training format led by Josie Litchfield and Shauna Rossington of Mountain Circle Family Services. The cost is $25 per month. All the fitness leaders are volunteer so the money raised can go back into the Community Center for expenses and to purchase more fitness equipment. Grab your gal or guy pal, your work out gear and join us weekly for a great workout to keep you fit this winter. The more people that come, the less classes will cost. No more winter blues. Lots of heat will be generated here! You will be able to enjoy two classes on Wednesday 10/17/12. Tai Chi starts at 9am and we are continuing to practice the first third of the Yang Style Short Form.
Radiant Health Yoga (RHY) starts at 11:30am for your full body stretch! |
