Join the fun filled festivities, this Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 8am until ??? in Taylorsville, celebrating the pioneer heritage of the men and women that founded the town. Debbie Allen of the Taylorsville Tavern spearheaded this celebration two years ago and has been building on it ever since. The Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce is co-sponsoring the event this year.
With these two dynamos organizing the fun you will find everything from an Ice Cream Social to Model A's. Arts and Crafts booths, a 50/50 raffle, and the 2nd annual Rib Cook Off. You will also find Sacred Space offering 5 minute Free Massages. Your first 5 minutes are free, if you would like more time, it is just $1.00 per minute after that! So bring your family, grab your gear, come early for the Biscuits & Gravy breakfast at the Taylorsville Fire Station on Nelson Street at 8am and plan to stay until dusk or later. Live music will be playing all day as well as street dance starting at 8:30pm. For more information go to: Plumas News or Taylorsville Tavern.
